8/8/20: We’ve all been masked-up here already, but just to clarify with the latest government guidelines for close contact services: Masks are required of both clients and therapist and must be worn to enter the building.

25/7/20: I’d like to assure everyone that appropriate measures are being taken at the Treatment Room. Many points of government guidance (hand washing, sanitiser, washing of linens between clients) have always been in place and are quite normal, everyday practices for massage therapists. I have added additional measures of spacing out bookings to minimise contact in the waiting room, wiping down the couch and touch points in the building between sessions with anti-viral/anti-bacterial disinfectant, keeping doors open and circulating air with fans. I wear a visor for treatments as well as a mask, and in addition to the Covid-related screening form, I ask all clients to please wear a mask while lying face up. I have a limited number of disposable masks available; if there is any reason you cannot wear a face covering please do not worry, we can adjust your treatment accordingly. Requirements may well change frequently and at short notice, and I will do my best to keep this page updated in a timely fashion.

Welcome to Caldwell Sports Massage, conveniently located at Queen’s Hall, Shalford, at the studio of We Love to Dance.

Massage therapy has wide-ranging benefits, from lowering overall stress to helping the body to recover from both new and chronic injuries.  It is also a useful tool in injury prevention as a whole.  Headaches, anxiety, back pain, and scar tissue can all be reduced through massage, and one’s immunity, circulation and flexibility can be improved.

I offer a range of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Muscle Energy Technique.  Each session is carefully designed in conversation with the client as to what their needs are for that particular booking.  I have worked with professional athletes, enthusiastic amateurs, those suffering from work-induced pain and stress, and of course people looking for a chance to relax and disconnect.

Feel free to call, text or email to request more information and book your next appointment.

Thank you!
